It was the most exiting, moving and funny week in a Miami I began to love.
The last 2 hours I spend with Rochelle, the woman who made a lot possible this week. But most of all, she was the icing on the cake of this week. She brought tears in my eyes while telling about her rebel years and how Kennedy was their Obama at he time and how for he, as for all of us now, it feels that all the good can happen again.
How Obama , part of the Mix Generation embodies so much connection and acceptence, like Tiger Wood did before him. All these cultures, colours, religions, concepts, countries are mixed in one person. I think it is just beautiful.
Rebels....feeling angry, passionate, full of desire to change, fighting for a better world.
And how Obama sort of won the rebels over...but at the same time I also saw the rebelliousness in the students who sticked with their choice for McCain.

I guess Adam Smith our Youtube sensation was right when he expressed his love for the USA by saying that it is so full of optimism.
A better world in Europe? We are to cynical for that....but it is still vibrating in the air here: Change.
It is what the Kenyans wrote us on election day:
It is not yes we can, anymore, but yes we are....

someone knocks on my door. This sentimental elevated fool gotta run.
Thank you everyone, thank you.
maartje nevejanhttp://www.couscousglobal.com/id/176ARTICLEnews
