Well, today is the day.</p><p>The Dutch - and I believe most European media - mostly report that Barack Obama will probably win because he`s ahead in the polls. Maartje contacted us from Miami and she told us that the people there still believe it`s gonna be a close call; anything can happen. That`s the attitude in Florida anyways according to her. </p>
<p>It is predicted there that John McCain is going to win Florida by about 0.2 percent: 48.8 for McCain versus 48.6 for Obama. Close call! A prediction for the national outcome is as follows: McCain: 44, Obama 55. Although that doesn't tell us anything about the number of delegates. </p>
<p>If we look at the Seven Election coffee cup race, than it seems that Obama is going to win. (Read <a href="http://www.couscousglobal.com/id/1542">this post</a> for more info on that.) If you check out the results on their website, you’ll notice that all competing states are turned blue, except for North Carolina and New Hampshire. Interesting, but I personally don't think that the entire state of Texas is going to vote Democratic now. The republican base has always been strong there. </p>
<p>So much for my two cents.
