WOW, communism at his best. The biggest thing is the thinking that they do over there, certainly would not work over here. I'm not sure that anyone over here in the US feels that the Govt. " Loves us" lol :D

I have lived most of my lives in Singapore and a fair share overseas. Never had I felt "inconvenienced or fined" due to the many "regulations of the land." Often it is basic common sense and courtesy. I'd rather have such rules which is implemented effectively rather than to live with the bad habits of a small minority.

Caning works....the bad kids over there are good kids over here in where I live (Vegas) These kids here are not afraid of anything...not even cops, because they know that no one can touch nor punish them. banning Chewing Gum helps for cleanliness and save money for the people too, why? because did you know that in some places, people are actually paying taxes for workers to get rid of stuck gums on the streets. Interesting questions! :)

singaporean laws are ridiculous fine ppl heavily for chewing gum? and its just gum even though it maybe dirty the environment but whats the government so afraid of? gettting its reputation spoiled? u got spit all over the damned streets everywhere u go already and what? they're still banning everything? this is just ridiculous i'd rather shoot myself than live here
