Amsterdam, Massage beauty salon Ying Mei

After 4 weeks in te South of Europe I am coming back to my neigboorhood: in Amsterdam.: the red light district or what is left of it.

I am reading the papers, not only of today, but of the last 4 week. They are all full of Beijng , the sports, the streets, the polution, the human rights.
My head is spinning of all the warnings, all the “be careful of”stories.

Erik and I are going to the Gay Canal Parade in old Amsterdam.
The first boat is packed with gay boys and girls under 18, and their parents are in the second boat.
I see a banner with” Proud parents say, its OK my child is gay”.
House music and old chansons are pumping the energy levels of everyone.
For one day Amsterdam is again the city of tolerance. We did not see that a lot the last few years. Istanbul is now Gay-capital of the world.
