Being armenian in Iran mean you can drink-possess and manufacture alcohol. Alot of laws don't apply to you, such as eating pork. I buy my alcohol from Armenians and also my bacon.

even tough this has noting to do with your question, but I would like to express my feelings about my Armenian friends. I truly get jealous when I see how some of my Armenian friends love Iran more than I do and trust me, I LOVE IRAN.I guess they understand Iran is not for any specific group of ppl, there are Kurd,Turks,lors,Arabs,Zoroastrians,Muslims,Cristian,jews who live there in peace and love this great country and know it as their mother land.

armenians and Persians(50% of iranian population) have same roots...in IRAN armenians are very respected...of course sometimes government changes in IRAN history might create more or less religionism, but I think iranian armenians all would admit that they felt home in IRAN and there are lot of very popular armeinan IRANIANS in music, sport,science etc...VIGEN,ANDY,ANDRANIK Teymourian etc....and unlike Turkey in IRAN armenians were never victims of genocide or huge discrimination

when i was in iran usually we used to buy our alcoholic beverages from our armenian neighbor, lol, and regardless of islamic government of iran, just go to tehran and u will see how different ethnic groups live happily together

I left Iran in 1974 and had many Armenian friends. in Persian language we call your land Armanestan and it used to be a province of Iran, so they are Iranian and still many of them are in Iran living. They are very industrious people and live as middle class to high class educated specially in art architectures, engineers, Medical field, they were respected from all. I remember we called them always Madam, or Mosio i really loved my Armenian, Ashory, Zaroastarian, and Jewish, bahaii friends
