Whoohee! Are we happy? Yeah, sort of. I guess. i hear you thinking... Why use the words "sort of?"
Well, pessimistic old me is very happy to announce that his new iMac is up and running. Extra memory is installed so she's working great! Yesterday I mentioned a thing or two about my editing suite which wasn't working. She's up and running too. There is however - oh dear, here he goes again - one minor setback.
I'm not able to open my project! THE project which contains all the information of our edited and raw footage. Without this I can't do jack!
Do not worry, I've searched the web all day and I've found out that this is a problem which occurs quite often. It is a problem which thus can be solved. I think it has to do with he location of certain files on the new hard drive. The program that transfers all the data from the old to the new computer has probably moved several files to a new location. Anyway, as you might have guessed from this little story: I'm working on it.
This means that the two vids I've been talking about will be delayed somewhat. But then again, like I said earlier, 'patience is a virtue.'
